Busy Busy

monkeyAs you may see I have been a little behind in my posts. I really apologize for the inconvenience this nay have caused, because I know how my words inspire you all to do great things. I have been tied up with other, slightly more important activities. Such as work and school. Oh, who am I kidding those aren’t important. Both are based on the idea of money one so I can make money now, and the other so I can make more later. But, I digress.

I have also been in the proses of making the blog a little more appealing to the eye. That was a pain in itself. There are about a million different themes to choose from. Then, once I chose one it ended up mot being very friendly with HTML code. I finally was able to make everything jive though.

On top of all these other obligations the girlfriend and I recently bought a new PC. Which one would think would streamline things, and make life a lot easier. Maybe in perfect lala land, but not in my land. Especially with the luck I have with all things electronic. If it plugs in, has wires, and/or blinks I will have some issue one way or the other. No it’s mot that I am one of the idiots that goes to Best Buy and has to have the latest and greatest, just because it’s out. Then get it home and have no clue what it is, or how it works. I think of myself as an above average “geek”. Not to the point where I talk as I never hit puberty, or to the point where my only friends are techy2256 and Diablo2453. But in the same respect slightly more inteligent that the Best Buy “Geek Squad” yahoos. Also not to the point where I collect the Transformer figures…wait….oh yeah I did pass that point.

So anyway, I thought getting a new PC would be the best way to start with a clean slate, and not have to constantly troubleshoot all the time. I coukdn’t have been further from the truth. I have had a number of compatibility issues with Vista (go figure) not to mention the problems with integrating everything together. Once I get one thing working, it causes another to take a crap. It’s a vicious cycle. Good thing I half way enjoy this stuff, otherwise this thing would be out the window.  More on this later.

In the down time I have compiled a list of possible topics I want to write about. So if you thought I was off the grid, I’m back. Oh and by the way, if you happened to come across this through a random Google search, add me to your RSS feed. It won’t hurt, you already have at least 10 on there you don’t care about.

Until I gather my thoughts, and stop yelling at this damn computer.

Stay Sic
